ECAN WPC decking daily cleaning and maintenance
ECAN wood decking is designed for easy life, unlike natural solid wood decking, the composite cladding on the surface of ECAN wood-plastic wood decking is easy to clean, maintain, and easy to operate. ECAN WPC decking does not require staining, sealing wax or varnishing steps after installation, while protecting the environment. All exterior building materials and decoration materials require certain cleaning and maintenance, and ECAN WPC decking is no exception. To ensure that your ECAN WPC decking creates a neat and beautiful living environment and maintains its good appearance when it was just installed, it is necessary to wipe clean with mild soapy water immediately when dirty. ECAN WPC decking has anti-microbial properties and also makes it anti-fungal, which is safe and hygienic for the whole living and working environment.

General cleaning (dust) Weekly dry sweep with warm soapy water and sponge
Mildew and sterilization ECAN wood-plastic wood decking will not produce mold during the experiment, but in a long-term humid environment, it may produce mold-like moss. Apply with a sponge dipped in warm soapy water, then brush with a stiff-bristle broom, or spray with a high-temperature water gun.
Oil stains Cooking oil, meat fat and food fall out must be removed as soon as possible. Dip a sponge in warm soapy water and spray with a bristle broom or high-pressure water gun.
Rust Avoid direct contact of rust-prone substances with decking. If it is unavoidable, a layer of rubber pads should be placed on the legs and feet of iron furniture. soaps, laundry detergents, and detergents are difficult to remove with common cleaning agents. Dip a sponge in warm oxalic acid, then brush with a stiff-bristle broom, or flush with a high-pressure water jet.
Construction marking Wipe back and forth on the contaminated area with a rag dipped in alcohol.
Minor wear marks Use a sponge dampened in warm soapy water and scrub with a stiff bristle broom back and forth, or with a high-pressure water jet.
droppings Use a sponge dipped in warm soapy water, moisten it thoroughly, and then scrub with a stiff-bristle broom, or flush with a high-pressure water gun. Do not attempt to remove with a metal shovel or sharp spatula.
De-icing Let the ice melt, then wipe dry. Calcium chloride or rock salt contributes to the rapid melting of the ice. Calcium chloride or rock salt may leave white crystals after the ice melts, which can be easily removed with warm soapy water and a soft non-metallic brush or bristle broom. Metal objects, such as metal shovels, are prohibited to remove ice or frost and snow on ECAN WPC decking.
Coffee Wet a sponge in warm soapy water, then scrub with a stiff-bristle broom, or with a high-pressure water jet.
-color wine (red wine) Dip a sponge in warm soapy water, moisten it thoroughly, and then scrub with a stiff-bristle broom, or rinse with a high-pressure water gun.
Edible Soy Sauce Dip a sponge in warm soapy water, moisten it thoroughly, and then scrub with a stiff-bristle broom or a high-pressure water gun.
Oil Use a sponge dipped in warm soapy water, wet it thoroughly, and then scrub with a stiff-bristle broom, or flush with a high-pressure water gun. Stubborn stains can be wiped with a bristle brush dipped in sodium carbonate solution.
Red ink Use a sponge dipped in warm soapy water, moisten it thoroughly, and then scrub with a stiff-bristle broom, or flush with a high-pressure water gun.
Lipstick Dip a sponge in warm soapy water, moisten it thoroughly, then scrub with a stiff-bristle broom, or rinse with a high-pressure water jet.
Nail polish Use a white cotton cloth dipped in diesel oil to wipe the oily place back and forth, and rinse the surface with water in time. If it doesn’t wipe clean at one time, you can repeat several times until the oil stain is completely removed. Then use a sponge dipped in soapy water to remove the diesel oil on the decking surface, and flush the decking surface with a water gun.
Printing oil Use a white cotton cloth dipped in diesel oil to wipe the oil stains back and forth, and rinse the surface with water in time. If it doesn’t wipe clean at one time, you can repeat several times until the oil stain is completely removed. Then use a sponge dipped in soapy water to remove the diesel oil on the decking surface, and flush the decking surface with a water gun.
Black shoe polish Use a white cotton cloth dipped in diesel oil to wipe the oil stains back and forth, and rinse the surface with water in time. If it doesn’t wipe clean at one time, you can repeat several times until the oil stain is completely removed. 20 Cigarette residues Unfinished cigarette butts and soot fall off decking, which will burn and leave permanent scars on decking. Sometimes there is still residual temperature after the cigarette butt is extinguished, and it may also cause permanent scars left by scalding decking. For contamination by extinguished and cooled cigarette butts and soot, use a sponge dipped in warm soapy water to apply decking, then brush with a stiff broom, or flush with a high-pressure water gun. It is strictly forbidden to drop cigarette butts and soot on the decking, and the disposal of cigarette butts should comply with local regulations.
Mud Use a sponge dipped in warm soapy water to fully wet the decking surface and contaminants, then wipe with a stiff brush, or flush with a high-pressure water jet.
Construction Cement Concrete When construction cement concrete falls on the decking surface, it is best to remove it during the initial setting of the concrete, directly scrub with clean water and a bristle broom, or flush with a high-pressure water gun. It is very difficult to remove the concrete after the decking surface has solidified. Forcible removal may damage the decking. Therefore, the cement concrete should be avoided to contaminate the decking.
Asphalt concrete for construction Asphalt concrete materials fall off decking, which can be removed by most of the asphalt cleaners for vehicles on the market. However, long-term use of asphalt cleaners may leave marks on the decking. Therefore, the contamination of decking with asphalt concrete materials should be avoided.
